Created by the company Teatrocinema, the triptych composed by Sin sangre (2007), El hombre que daba de comer a las mariposas (2010) and Historia de amor (2013) brings into question the traditional theatrical box: the use of cinematographical effects leads specifically to the questioning of the human presence, the scenical image, as well as the spectator's view.
By developing a “box of images”, which makes the spectator enter into the mental space of a deranged man, the device serves a dramaturgy of the obsession of manipulation. In such a device, which articulates film animation and theatre, the human presence becomes a central issue, oscillating between real flesh and simple image.
