Nadja, ou André Breton en ses « maisons de verre »

Abstract : From conceptual tools allowing to think over the « place of writing » and the theatricalization of literary speech, this study focuses on the domestic motif in André Breton’s Nadja. It shows that he indulges in a liquidating inventory of the main categories of literary monuments inherited from the past centuries to contrast them with the subversive list of personal and surrealistic monuments – his places to live in particular. Here stands out an initiatory journey proper to surrealism and literary history.
